At Balaxi, we have always carried with us a strong belief that companies like us can go much beyond just business and bring fundamental changes in the lives of those who remain unserved. This belief led us to establish ‘Balaxi Foundation’ that is working relentlessly to uplift every girl child in India and helping them realise their dreams.
Established in 2019, Balaxi Foundation is a goal-focused social initiative that endeavours to work for every girl in India who has dreamt of flying out of poverty on the wings of education. While several underprivileged children face financial obstacles on the path to education and building a career, it is even more difficult for underprivileged girls who juggle through both financial and social challenges. In India, often in families that are below the poverty line, the educational development of boys is considered more important than girls. This is one of the many reasons that hinder the growth and upliftment of rural India. Therefore, we believe that it is more crucial than ever to become proactive and provide an equitable education to every girl to build a strong foundation for the future of the society and country.

To take our effort one step ahead by collaborating with goaloriented organisations, we have partnered with IIMPACT, which is an initiative started by a group of IIM Alumni. The NGO works towards building learning centres of girls in the rural parts of the country. Their learning centres ensure zerocost high-quality education to girls who are willing to attend school from Grade I to V. In collaboration with IIMPACT, Balaxi Foundation aims to extend their initiative to the higher education front and also take it to South India.
